Overview

As the Principle Acquisition Analyst/Program Lead working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will interface with the government branch leads in SHIPS GEM . You will be expected to assist in managing GFE 

 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Support government platform (broken down to ship class and hull) and combat system (broken down to component/assembly) Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) delivery statuses, issues, risks, and other program acquisition management functions to the government customer in PEO SHIPS
  • Provide shipbuilding support to Ships GEM shipyard liaison at the GFE reviews for each shipbuilder
  • Provide continuity in technical support to ensure efficient and effective processes are in place for GFE delivery to the respective shipyards
  • Provide contract management support, including entering Procurement Requests (PRs) into the Standard Procurement System (SPS), as well as interfacing/coordinating with the contracting officer and Ships GEM through the contract award process
  • Provide Risk Management expertise with analyzing risks associated with technical, cost, and schedule impacts with the development and production of Combat and HM&E systems
  • Conduct monthly stoplight risk assessments for each PARM. Develop risk charts to track the risk and provide quarterly metrics including trend analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science discipline
  • 10 years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or 10 years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
  • DoD Secret level clearance

Preferred:

  • 14+ years DoD/Navy program management,  Government technical management, or Industry business management
