Overview

As the Senior Manager for Advisory Services Division working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will lead and participate in a portfolio of projects across a spectrum of challenging topics facing the maritime industry. You will be expected to lead and participate in projects ranging from strategic analysis for critical maritime capabilities to driving decision science solutions with data-based decision-making techniques and using design thinking principles with robust critical thinking skills that will consider modern perspectives in the maritime industry such as model-based systems engineering, mission engineering and digital engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects to include leading efforts to maintain a strong Navy EMP protection program considering future ship design and overall program management considerations, as well as other high-level Navy projects requiring support and solutions to business challenges
  • Execute strong team-building skills to chair service-wide and Joint-level IPTs and working groups to promote knowledge-sharing, process improvement, and to capture the best practices in support of Navy and other Department of Defense projects
  • Lead and supervise teams as a lead consultant utilizing skills in both program management and engineering management capacities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering fields
  • 15+ years of experience
  • Top Secret level DoD clearance 
  • Navy-related Experience in either military service or civilian capacities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in ship design and/or ship maintenance
  • Master's degree in engineering fields
