Overview

As the Secretary working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will provide administrative support. You will be expected to perform administrative tasking as detailed below 

 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

This position is 100% in office work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving of communications, records, and other information. The
  • Duties also include:
    • operating office machines
    • storing, distributing, accounting for stores of material
  • Support projects requiring research and preparation of briefings charts and other presentation materials
  • Operating computerized business systems for the purpose of data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics
  • Perform administrative tasks, data entry and database updates in Electronic Departure From Specification, Navy Maintenance Database(NMD), TASS-Info including eTAVR tracking, data entry and metrics
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, charts, and graphs
  • Prepare meeting minutes and presentations, file and records management, enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems
  • Prepare correspondence, instructions, and memorandum
  • Assist in material ordering, pickup, and delivery of supplies

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 or more years' experience in administrative support
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • A working knowledge of time keeping systems, specifically TAAS and SUPDESK, Business Objects and (MRQT) Material Requirements Tool 
  • Active secret clearance with NACLC Investigation  
  • Capable of bending, stooping, lifting
  • Able to work in an environment of low and high temperatures
