Overview

As the NMP Trainer working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will provide support in training all aspects of the Navy Modernization Program (NMP) and all modules of the Navy Data Environment (NDE). This includes development of comprehensive training materials as well as conducting live and virtual hands-on training delivery. You shall serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Navy Modernization policy and ensure training materials remain current, in a format to maximize knowledge transfer.  

 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end to end training on NMP, NMP implementation, and execution within NDE to government clients
  • Develop and update training material and conduct training on each of the following topics: 
    • NMP process and policy, ILS, NM, EP, MMRS, Program.NET, BFIMS, AFOM, CBA, SCD process (Initiating, submitting, voting, and approving), and RMMCO
  • Develop higher tiered training, in Microsoft PowerPoint format for presentation to High Level Leadership providing a general overview of the NMP and the SCD voting process
  • Ensure formatting maximizes transfer of knowledge
  • Provide updates to training materials as generated
  • Provide advanced and specialized training in the NMP and NDE (including RMMCO), as directed
  • Develop and maintain training manuals and updates
  • Post copies of current and past training manuals, handouts, and training updates to the NDE website under the “Training” folder

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in computer systems, management business or equivalent (Desired) 
  • 10 or more years of  experience with Navy Data Environment applications, and use 
  • 10 or more years of NMP policy experience. Intimate familiarity with the NMP-Management and Operations Manual (MOM) 
  • 5 or more years of experience in comprehensive training development and delivery 
  • Experience in .Net landscaping  
  • SME knowledge of NDE modules 
  • Effectively instruct on NMP policy 
  • Experience with MS suite  
  • Experience with life cycle maintenance to include SCD development from creation to execution 
  • Active Secret clearance
