Overview

As an Analyst, Mid working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will work under the Navy Modernization, Planning and Sustainability Division, Naval Sea Systems Command, which is responsible for providing the Fleet and modernization stakeholders with modernization policies; Ship Change Document (SCD) processes and approvals; Navy Data Environment (NDE) and user-training; Fleet Risk Assessments; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Baselines; Information Technology (IT) business tools; metrics performance; and customized reports. The team will support all areas of NAVSEA Modernization Support the updates and adherence to the Navy Modernization Program Modernization and Operations Manual (NMP-MOM).  

 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with policy effectiveness analysis for program improvement. Review submissions for policy compliance
  • Update NMP policy documents at customer direction
  • Research and submit synthesized project reports, POA&Ms and assist in development of supporting briefs
  • Review draft briefs prior to customer submission
  • Gather, interpret, and use complex data to support decision-making and offer insights
  • Develop and implement data analysis procedures and strategies to optimize operational efficiency and quality
  • Provide a variety of data pulls and/or metrics to support NAVSEA in measuring the overall effectiveness of any program, process, or procedure

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in computer systems, management, business or equivalent (Desired) 
  • 5 or more years' project analyst experience 
  • Expertise in MS suite with emphasis on MS PowerPoint and MS Excel 
  • Basic understanding of Navy maintenance and modernization processes (Navy Modernization Process Management and operation manual-NMP-MOM) 
  • Basic level of knowledge of data analytics and metrics analysis 
  • Active Secret clearance
